Horror Illustration

A banner illustration about Harlan Ellison’s “I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream.” Depicting the major scenes in the horror short story.

26 “ x 13” in charcoal . . . . . (10 hidden faces)

Mood Board: This was made before beginning the illustration to help cultivate the design and aesthetic. It is also used to explain visually to art directors and peers what I want to achieve in my final artwork.

Thumbnail: An extremely brief sketch, usually the size of a thumbnail, that helps block out a rough design of an art piece. This was the thumbnail I chose to pursue in this illustration, out of a dozen other thumbnails.
